The Euro will look very different in a number of years. Devaluing is a Temporary Solution

Fusion: Will PIIGS nations have to leave the Euro in order to devalue their currencies and improve their competitiveness ?
Jim RogersThe Euro will look very different in a number of years. Devaluing is a temporary solution. Europe has been doing that for decades with no success. They can continue to do what they’ve been doing, but they’ll get poorer and poorer. Only real structural change to improve their economies will work. I do not blame the hard working Germans for not wanting to keep bailing out the wine sipping, beach loving Spaniards, Italians and Greeks.  - Jim Rogers interview with Fusion MarketSite

I hope the Euro survives - Jim Rogers

Jim Rogers :"... I do not suspect the Euro to be around in ten or twenty years but I think at the moment things are going to be OK for the Euro , first of all I want to say I hope the Euro survives , The world needs something to compete with the US dollar and the Euro would be perfect , theoretically the Euro is a perfect replacement for the dollar unfortunately I am afraid that in ten twenty years from now it won't survive because the politicians keep on doing the same things the Americans do , they're propping up failed countries and failed companies that's a mistake "

Jim Rogers Buy The Euro Now

"When no one wants something that should be a signal to buy it," "Everyone has been selling the euro, so I bought some, if only for the rally."

“This doesn't mean that I think European governments have got their act together. Far from it. But the euro could go up from a rebound rally.”
“Nearly every currency in the world is flawed, the euro just happens to be less flawed than others,” Jim Rogers told the Telegraph.
