For Turkey, Indonesia, India, Brazil - this is not Over Yet

For Turkey, Indonesia, India, Brazil - this is not over yet - "they have serious problems and are not being resolved."

The major problem is the Federal Reserve: with interest rates at such low levels, people can borrow lots of money - and America is printing a lot of money so there's plenty to go around

A lot of countries have borrowed money at cheap rates which covers up their problems... they haven't addressed their real problems; and so now, we have a huge problem facing us and it's going to get worse.

This is not over yet - you should be worried, be careful, and be prepared

Jim Rogers: Much of the world is going to have serious problems. India, Indonesia, Turkey

ET Now: You have said you are negative India because of a host of reasons. We have corrected a bit today. How much further do you think the Indian equity markets can slide down?

Jim Rogers: I am not very good at market timing or short term trading. I expect India to have serious problems. Much of the world is going to have serious problems. India, Indonesia, Turkey - you are not the only one. I am not picking on you, but your politicians and other politicians have made terrible mistakes and now we are going to have to pay the price.  - in ET Now

Indonesia Economy Threatened by Free Trade Agreement with China

A free trade deal between China and the Association of Southeast Nations (Asean) comes into affect this year.

The government Indonesia, which is part of Asean, says removing barriers and ensuring easy cross border trade will help grow the domestic economy.

But many workers are worried they will not be able to compete against a flood of Chinese products and Indonesian farmers, especially, worry that they will soon be out of jobs as consumers choose cheaper Chinese produce.

Thousands of workers have taken to the streets calling for parts of the trade pact to be delayed.
