Jim Rogers recommends investing in Coffee and Silver
...cotton is making new highs, sugar has been growing up, and gold you know what has been going on in the markets. I would look at things that have not moved up this much. Buy silver than gold, for instance, if you want to buy precious metal. I would like to buy coffee than some of the things that have moved up so much, but there is still a huge potential. If governments are going to continue to print money, we are going to have higher prices for commodities though you may not have higher prices for stocks somewhere down the road, but as long as you require money, it is going in the commodities, among other prices.....in economictimes.indiatimes.com

Jim Rogers sees opportunities in Sugar Coffee and Farming
Jim Rogers : Agriculture has been a horrible business to be in for the last 30 years but I see some good opportunities there as the world demands more food. Sugar prices are very depressed. Something like 75 per cent off their all-time high back in 1974. And coffee prices are also depressed. Farming is one of the few areas I am optimistic about.
You might think these sorts of commodities' values were peaking especially something as basic as rice given the demand for them but it takes a while for the markets to catch on.
If you don't feel confident enough buying the individual commodity there will always be an index or an ETF (Exchange Traded Fund) that tracks it.

Jim Rogers on Gold Silver Cotton Coffee and other Commodities

Gold should be over $2000 by now says Jim Rogers
"If you adjust Gold for inflation and go back to it’s former all-time high in 1980, Gold should be over $2,000 an ounce right now if you want to say it’s reaching new inflation adjusted all-time highs. That does not mean Gold has to get back to a true all-time high. Nothing has to. However, I suspect that given all the money printing in the world, we will see much higher prices for hard assets.
Despite Gold’s potential, I think I will make more money in other commodities such as silver, cotton, or coffee — all of which are terribly depressed."said Jim Rogers in a recent interview with Businesswire
