Jim Rogers: As you know, the markets do have contango and
backwardation. It’s always been the case with commodities, and always
will be. These products attempt to mitigate the problems of contango.
And so far, the ETNs have been able to do a good job, better than the
regular, original index. Will that be the case in the future? I don’t
have a clue.

Rogers and Soros helped steer the fund to a miraculous 4,200% return over the 10 year span of the fund while the S&P 500 returned just 47%.
