Legendary Investor Jim Rogers recommends investing in farmland , saying that farmers and not financiers will driving Lamborghinies in the future “It’s the farmers, the producers who are going to be in the captain’s seat when the prices go through the roof,” Jim Rogers told The Australian Financial Review this week .
"The world has got a serious food problem, The only real way to solve it is to draw more people back to agriculture." Jim Rogers explained.
“We have shortages of everything from oil to food and on top of that we have governments printing more money. Put the two together and you have some serious inflation coming down the road,” he added.
Jim Rogers started trading the stock market with $600 in 1968.In 1973 he formed the Quantum Fund with the legendary investor George Soros before retiring, a multi millionaire at the age of 37. Rogers and Soros helped steer the fund to a miraculous 4,200% return over the 10 year span of the fund while the S&P 500 returned just 47%.
