Jim Rogers : we have as you probably know a shortage of farmers developing , the average age of a farmer in America and Australia is 58 , in Japan the average age is 66 I mean nobody became a farmer for 30 years .... The world has been consuming more than it has been producing for so long now that's why the inventories are so low and all these guys are getting older and olderJim Rogers started trading the stock market with $600 in 1968.In 1973 he formed the Quantum Fund with the legendary investor George Soros before retiring, a multi millionaire at the age of 37. Rogers and Soros helped steer the fund to a miraculous 4,200% return over the 10 year span of the fund while the S&P 500 returned just 47%.
