Jim Rogers & Peter Schiff : The Collapse of The US Dollar

Jim Rogers :".“We’re at a moment of truth for the dollar,”
“I’m actually thinking of buying the U.S. dollar. I see that it is really getting pounded right now,”

"..I own the US dollar at the moment because there have been many-many skeptics on the US dollar. I expect it to rally for a while. I do not know whether I would own it for a week or a month or a year. I just do not know. I do know that as long as there are many-many skeptics, there is a good chance that it will rally, there are some things going on in the US which may cause the rally to go even further. I am not selling my dollars if it goes down, I might even buy more US dollars, but longer term the US dollars may be in terrible-terrible shape. It is a very flowed currency; I do not plan to own the US dollar 5-10 years from now at all and may be sooner. ..."
"The only bubble I see developing in the world right now is in long-term government bonds in the United States. The idea that somebody would lend money to the United States for 30 years in U.S. dollars at 4 or 5 or 6 percent interest is incomprehensible to me. I'm not short of bonds right now because the government keeps driving them up—I don't know how long they're going to do it—but I do suspect and hope that sometime in the next year or two, I'll be short of U.S. government bonds, because that's the only bubble I see developing."
