Jim Rogers : The Chinese stock market at the moment is an incipient bubble. The Chinese government is trying to cool it off. I hope they do. If it turns into a bubble, then I'll have to sell because all bubbles end badly. There are a couple peculiarities in the Chinese market. If shares of company A in Shanghai trade at 100, the same shares in the same company in Hong Kong might sell at 60 because in China [retail investors] can't put their money anywhere else.

Jim Rogers started trading the stock market with $600 in 1968.In 1973 he formed the Quantum Fund with the legendary investor George Soros before retiring, a multi millionaire at the age of 37. Rogers and Soros helped steer the fund to a miraculous 4,200% return over the 10 year span of the fund while the S&P 500 returned just 47%.
