Japan Still Lacking Sense of Crisis, Says Asia Society's Parker
Japan has a huge debt problem that needs to be addressed .Japan's public debt is nearing 200 percent of GDP, and room for fiscal expansion is small, as Reuters reports. The government not surprisingly is scrambling to cut spending for the next fiscal year.
China was very good to Japan despite initial 'China threat theory in Japan' , the Japanese population is shrinking the pension system is unsustainable , but opening Japan to foreign immigrants is not realistic due to cultural factors...
