Jim Rogers : “We — the financial types — are getting blamed for all the world’s problems,"
"There are going to be more regulations, more controls, more taxes."
“I know that a lot of people are having to liquidate positions because now the banks’ examiners are all over these banks especially JPMorgan so they’re trying to take off as many positions as they can so that the regulators don’t put them out of business,” Jim Rogers told told CNBC's Closing Bell with Maria Bartiromo. "2013 is going to be a mess," he says.
Jim Rogers started trading the stock market with $600 in 1968.In 1973 he formed the Quantum Fund with the legendary investor George Soros before retiring, a multi millionaire at the age of 37. Rogers and Soros helped steer the fund to a miraculous 4,200% return over the 10 year span of the fund while the S&P 500 returned just 47%.
