Jim Rogers vs Jim Chanos on China

Legendary contrarian investor Jim Rogers, disagrees with Jim Chanos, founder and president of Kynikos Associates, who is shorting China saying the nation's economy is on the treadmill to hell.
Jim Rogers :"I think that the 21st century will be the century of China. I didn't move to China. I moved to Singapore for a variety of reasons namely because there's so much pollution in China, which by the way is going to be a great opportunity for somebody. The Chinese are spending huge amounts of money trying to clean up the pollution. But I didn't want to breathe all that bad air ... But, yes, I think there will continue to be fabulous opportunities in Asia." via www.thestreet.com

Charlie Rose - Mohammed El Erian

Mohammed El Erian is one of the country's most successful money managers. He's the co-CEO of the Pacific Investment Management Company, better known as PIMCO. That firm oversees more than 829 billion dollars. He previously led Harvard University's endowment to substantial returns on investment. I spoke to him recently about his new book "When Markets Collide" and how he sees the global economy today.

short selling is legal and a key component in a balance in the financial markets. Who expsoed Enron and AIG originally, the short sellers! the diff between equity vs. credit markets. b. he runs pimco, a bond fund manager, they dont short equities, thats not their business. oh and his performance at harvard was exeptional,
